Jack graduated from Miami University’s (OH) Farmer School of Business in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Jack obtained his MBA as well as his CFP® designation from Belmont University.
Jack has spent his entire professional career in the financial services industry. Directly out of college, he worked for a national brokerage firm for 3 years where he partnered with Tim Cantrell. Keeping the team based approach, Jack and Tim transitioned to an independent, fee-based financial planning model at Applied Capital. Jack is jointly responsible for the growth and support of the Nashville office.
While at Miami (OH), Jack met his wife, Meg Hudson. Meg received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. Meg currently works at Vanderbilt’s Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute. Jack and Meg live in Nashville, Tennessee with their dog, Honey.
Being a Nashville native, Jack has seen first-hand the change and growth of the city, and understands the importance of giving back to the community. Jack served as a swim coach for over ten years at various organizations including Sequoia Swim & Tennis club, the Nashville Aquatic Club, and Harpeth Hall. Jack also served as a basketball coach for Westminster Presbyterian’s youth recreational league.
